FAQs

Contractors Alliance Canada is a national online platform built by contractors, for contractors. We connect tradespeople, subcontractors, and renovators through business listings, a job board, trade-specific groups, mentorship opportunities, and a dedicated section for women in the trades.
Any Canadian contractor, tradesperson, or renovation professional—including electricians, plumbers, drywallers, tilers, cabinetmakers, and more—can join. Whether you’re a solo operator or part of a larger team, CAC is built to support your business and growth.
Currently, CAC is focused on Canadian contractors. Other sites get cluttered with information that is irrelevant to Canadian Contractors. We are changing that.
Visit our Mentorship Hub and either create a listing as a mentor or browse available mentors by trade or topic. We’re building a culture where tradespeople help each other succeed.
Through groups, forums, and your profile listing, you can message, collaborate, or refer jobs to fellow members.
Every listing and post is tied to a verified account. We also encourage peer reviews, endorsements, and active discussion to build a reputation-based ecosystem.
Use the “Contact Us” link in the footer or email support@contractorsalliance.ca. We’ll respond as soon as possible.

Yes! CAC is mobile-friendly and accessible on any smartphone or tablet via your browser.

Absolutely. We use industry-standard encryption and data protection methods to keep your information safe.

Great question—and one we hear often.

Just like a contractor needs to invest in tools, insurance, fuel, and training to run a professional operation, CAC needs resources to keep our platform running smoothly, secure, and growing in value for you.

Think of your CAC membership as part of your business toolkit—a tool that helps you:

Get more visibility for your business

Find and post real job opportunities

Connect with peers in your trade

Access business resources, mentorship, and a community that has your back

Running CAC involves ongoing costs: web development, support staff, content creation, marketing, and tech maintenance. Without a small membership fee, we couldn’t offer the quality or professionalism the trades deserve.

You’ll be able to:

List your business in a searchable directory

Join trade-specific discussion groups

Apply for or post jobs

Access mentorship opportunities

Participate in member-only forums and giveaways

Explore resources tailored to your trade

Yes! Use our location-based search to find contractors by trade, city, or province—great for networking or finding subcontractors for your project.
The CAC job board is where members can post job opportunities or apply for work. Whether you’re hiring or looking, it’s a central hub for contractor employment in Canada.

Groups are trade-specific communities within CAC. Join your trade’s group to ask questions, share tips, and connect with others who do the same work.

ContractHer is our dedicated space for women in the trades. It includes a safe forum, career development tools, resources, affiliate links, and mentorship for women in construction.

From business templates to grant/loan links, safety guides to continuing education opportunities—we provide curated content that helps you grow and protect your trade business.
